Lincolnwood police: Gas station employee punched over broken air compressor - Chicago Tribune

The following items were taken from Lincolnwood Police Department reports. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Jacob Fernandez, 24, of the 7500 block of North Bell, Chicago, was charged with battery on the night of Dec. 7, police said. According to police, Fernandez became angry that the air compressor was not working at a gas station on the 7200 block of Cicero and he punched an employee.

Joseph F. White, 52, of the 1600 block of McCormick Drive, Hoffman Estates, was arrested Dec. 7 on a warrant for theft in connection with an incident that occurred in 2018, police said. According to police, White accepted a deposit to perform work at a Lincolnwood business, but never returned to do the work.

Ashur Sadek, 37, of the 8400 block of St. Louis, Skokie, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon on Dec. 8 following a traffic stop on the 6700 block of Crawford Avenue at 8:47 p.m., police said.

Two unknown women stole four bottles of alcohol valued at $148 from a store on the 7100 block of Lincoln Avenue on the afternoon of Dec. 6, police said.

Thirty dollars in cash was reported stolen Dec. 9 from the glove box of a car that was left unlocked on the 7300 block of Keystone Avenue.

Two bottles of alcohol valued at $107 were reported stolen Dec. 10 from a store on the 7100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
