POLICE were called after fencing and trees appeared to be deliberately set on fire at Burtonwood, Warrington, yesterday afternoon.

Shortly after 4 pm, one crew was called to Pennington Lane, Burtonwood, Warrington

Fencing and a row of trees were on fire in what is believed to have been a deliberate ignition. A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire and dampen down the surrounding area. Police were informed due to the suspicion of arson.
