17:52   Rear of Leisure Centre, Northallerton

Northallerton fire crew used a triple extension ladder to rescue a girl who had become stuck while climbing a tree.

Harrogate fire crew were requested by Ambulance to assist them in moving a female casualty downstairs.

A Selby fire crew attended a muck heap of some 40 x 3 metres in size on fire by the roadside. Hose reel, beaters and pitchforks used in their 2.5 hour incident – which has been flagged for a Wednesday revisit. Cause believed to be spontaneous combustion.

York fire crew used a hose reel to extinguish a wheelie bin which had been set alight deliberately outside some flats.

Northallerton fire crew used a hose reel to extinguish a fire on a picnic table which had been started deliberately by youths.

Ripon fire crew gained entry into a flat and then isolated the water supply there which was leaking from the water tank and into the flat below.

There were also fire alarm activations attended in: Melsonby.   All proved to be false alarms.
