To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Crews responded to a fire involving a wooden summerhouse in a domestic garden. Large tree also involved in fire. Crews extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets.

Crews used small tools to release the door locks on a car due to  three year old accidentally being locked inside. The child was reunited with his mother.

Scarborough Crew attended reports of a small fire in a field. This was out on arrival of crews but had involved a small pile of twigs and rubbish. Crews gave advice at the scene.

Northallerton Crew attended a small fire outside involving a school shirt set on fire deliberately. The fire was out on arrival of crews.

York crew attended a smoke alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

York crew attended a fire involving a wooden shed that had spread to tress surrounding it. The cause is thought to have been deliberate and crew used 1 main jet to extinguish the fire which caused 100% fire damage to shed.

Fire crews from Northallerton and Coulby Newham were called to reports of an acrid smell coming from an electrical box in a detached bungalow. After investigation the crew found there to be no fire incident. Crew isolated fuse board and occupier was awaiting attendance of electrical engineer.

Boroughbridge fire crew were called to attend reports of a fire in the open. Upon arrival they found a fire measuring approx 15m x 15m and requested a further fire appliance to attend to assist in damping the fire down, Easingwold crew attended the scene and both crews worked together to extinguish the fire.

York crew responded to a smoke alarm activation at a residential property. This was as a false alarm caused by coking fumes.

Crews responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision. No people were trapped and one male was taken to hospital with leg injuries.

Scarborough crews attended a bush on fire. The cause of fire is believed to be deliberate. Crew extinguished the fire using a hose reel.

York crews responded to reports of a smoke alarm activation at a commercial property. This was a false alarm and there was no fire.

Ripon crews attended a small fire in the open next to the river. The fire is believed to have been caused deliberately. Crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
