To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred. 

Crews from Scarborough assisted paramedics to gain entry into a property using a triple extension ladder and GAME(Gain Access Medical Emergency) kit.

Crews from Scarborough responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

Crews from Harrogate responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

Crews from Acomb assisted a male locked inside his premises by forcing entry using crew power.

Crews from Scarborough assisted a male back into his flat after accidentally getting locked out. Crews gained entry through a window with the assistance of our aerial ladder platform.

Crews from Northallerton assisted paramedics to gain entry into a residential property. Access was gained going through a rear window and the incident was left with paramedics on scene.

Crews from Acomb responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

Crews from Richmond, Bedale, Leyburn, Reeth and Northallerton responded to reports of a barn on fire containing straw, tires and cylinders. The crews sectorised the building and used ground monitors to extinguish the fire. The incident is still ongoing and a cause is yet to be determined.

Crews from Harrogate and neighbouring brigade appliance Rawdon from West Yorkshire responded to reports of a fire in the woods. The fire was extinguished and cause unknown.

Crews from Easingwold responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

Crews from Whitby responded to reports of glass falling from a commercial building. Crews assessed the building and assisted to pick up the panes of glass which had fallen from the window.

Crews responded to reports of a car smoking from the wheel arches in a car park. This resulted in a false alarm with the cause believed to have been overheating brakes.

Crews from Harrogate responded to reports of a fire in the open. This resulted in a small campfire left unattended and was extinguished using one hose reel jet. The cause was deliberate.

Crews from Knaresborough responded to a tree on fire in a domestic garden. One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire with the cause being accidental.

Crews from Hawes on standby at Leyburn responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding. This resulted in a false alarm.

Crews from Huntington and York responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential premises. This resulted in a false alarm.

Crews from Huntington responded to reports of a vehicle leaking fuel.

Skipton responded to an alarm activating in an inn. False alarm due to cooking fumes.

York responded to a report of hay bales on fire. False alarm due to attended controlled burning.

Tadcaster responded to a combine on fire in a field.
